What’s in a name?
Sometimes, it’s everything.
Meet Moo.
Moo was… all things. She was almost solely responsible for my life being what it is today. I assure you, I’m not being figurative with that comment. I thought I would work in the veterinary field, she came along and made that nearly impossible. I thought I would be a graphic designer (for which I do have a degree) but she made it painfully obvious that documenting her, and others like her, was so much more important. She was 100% right. She usually was.
In the dirt, getting kisses, is where I belong. Don’t tell our Edana in the photo but, this is where I end up with most dogs. I don’t pose. I don’t often get dressed up and the rare selfie would never have happened without the dog that’s next to me in the photo. I’m someone that understands not wanting to be in a photo for a myriad of reasons. I’m here to tell you I get it and it’s still worth it. This isn’t awkward posing. It’s just you, playing with your dog, and me, probably telling terrible jokes. They say most pet photographers are introverts. I say I’m more of an extrovert with canine priorities!
